When you reserve a seat, we will complete online check-in for you automatically. Please monitor the check-in status for your flight.
1. Your seat reservation may be changed due to flight schedule or aircraft changes, or for safety or operational reasons. If your seat is changed, Air China will try to reserve a new seat for you at the same price. If the price of the new seat is lower than the original seat, passengers should contact the original booking channel to request a refund of the price difference, plus compensation for 50% of the original seat price.
2. It is not currently possible to endorse or rebook seat reservations. To rebook a ticket, you must first cancel your seat reservation (see refund policy below). You can then rebook your ticket and reserve a seat again.
3. Seat reservation charges cannot be refunded, except under the following circumstances:
● If you have cancelled your ticket, the seat reservation charge can be refunded at no additional cost.
● If you request a paid or award upgrade, the seat reservation charge can be refunded at no additional cost.
● Seat reservation refunds that meet the terms and conditions can be requested up to 12 months after the date of purchase.
● If you are reassigned another seat at the same price, a higher price or in a higher travel class, your seat reservation charge will not be refunded.
4. To request a purchase invoice, please call the Air China hotline (95583) within 45 days of reserving a seat.
